  • September 28 - 600 candidates were issued the invitations to apply in the First ever category-based Express Entry draw for Agriculture and Agri-Food occupations with a minimum CRS of 354.
  • September 27, saw 500 candidates with a minimum CRS of 472 invited from the French-speaking proficiency category.  
  • On September 26, 3,000 candidates were invited in an all-program draw with a minimum CRS of 504.

As of October 1, 2023, you No Longer  Need to get an Upfront Medical Exam Before you Submit Your Application for
​ Permanent Residence through Express Entry.

If you’ve never completed an IME,

  • upload a blank document in the upload field of the Express Entry Profile Builder when submitting your application, and
  • wait for IRCC to send you further instructions on when to get your medical exam

IRCC  won’t approve your permanent resident application if your health

  • is a danger to Canada’s public health or safety
  • would cause too much demand on health or social services in Canada
