Study authorization extended for work permit holders - No limit on the duration of the study program (Part time - Full Time) - Effective immediately Workers will be able to boost their skills and have excellent job prospects and opportunities by enrolling themselves at various Canadian schools and institutions without a requirement of filing a Study Permit. Prior to this - without a study permit, a worker could only study for any program of less than 6 months.
Minister Sean Fraser made it easier for workers to gather the skills which can equip them to address the critical labor shortages and other skilled occupations while earning their living in Canada.
